Great news! Our school is participating in Jump for Heart this year to raise much-needed funds for Heart & Stroke. The funds raised will help beat cardiac arrest, which occurs when the heart suddenly stops beating. There are approximately 60,000 cardiac arrests in Canada each year – that’s one every nine minutes. So, it’s likely that most of us know someone who’s been touched by cardiac arrest. 

Think about the people you know who have a loved one who’s been affected by heart disease and stroke, or who have experienced it themselves.
