PAWS- Conflict Resolution Initiative Coming Soon!

At our school, we believe in fostering a positive and respectful learning environment where all students feel safe and valued. PAWS is a conflict resolution program designed to empower students with strategies to resolve conflicts in a calm, respectful, and solution-focused manner. PAWS centers student voice by encouraging thoughtful decision-making and self-advocacy while fostering a school culture built on mutual respect, inclusion, and positive relationships. By using PAWS, students develop essential life skills that contribute to a supportive and accepting school community. PAWS encourages students to:
- Pause and Breathe – Take a moment to stay calm before responding.
- Avoid or Ignore – If safe, choose not to engage in negative behavior.
- Walk Away – Remove yourself from the situation to prevent escalation.
- Speak to Someone – Seek support from a trusted friend, teacher, or adult.
